VFX Works from university assessments

The Doorway

My first VFX short film created using Nuke. I utilized Autodesk Maya to build scenes and render them into layered images for matte painting. Additionally, I filmed character elements using a green screen. Finally, I composited all assets using Nuke's 3D system.

The Drone

In this short film exercise, I practiced creating a low-cost aerial combat VFX short film. Firstly, I filmed footage of the drone and pilot using a green screen. Then, I captured dynamic sky backgrounds using a high-quality drone.

Sydney-3

In this VFX project, I attempted to recreate scenes from the Japanese anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" into live-action using low-cost visual effects techniques. To achieve as realistic results as possible, I assembled robot models, captured footage of the Sydney Opera House, and also shot HDRI images to record the lighting information at the time. In the post-production phase, I used 3D modeling to create fictional sci-fi buildings, geometric invaders, and added textures and animations to them. Finally, I integrated all assets into Nuke for final compositing, matched the perspective relationships of the shots, added atmospheric elements, and performed cinematic color grading.
